Pumpkinfest: Save the Date & Help Out This Summer!
Mark your calendar...this year Pumpkinfest will be celebrated on Sunday, October 26. Looking for a way to help out over the summer? While you're cleaning out your garage or attic, be sure to keep aside those items that you can donate to Pumpkinfest. We have scheduled special summer drop-off times - bring your items to the school on Tuesdays between 5:30 and 7:00pm. We'll also be hosting a special summer Pumpkinfest planning pizza party, so be sure to check the website and your inbox for the Listserv announcement. Click here for full details:

New School Hours Announced
In a June 23 letter home to parents, Superintendent Lupini announced the new, extended school hours for next year. Beginning in September, 2008, the K-8 school day will begin at 8:00am and conclude at 2:20pm. This additional student learning time will, according to the Superintendent, allow the school department to "implement new programs and schedule models...to better meet the needs of all of our students". More information about the extended school day will be sent home later this summer by Principal Raisner.
